This was the the letter I wrote to Barack Obama tonight on his website. McCain can't, Hillary can't, but Obama says YES WE CAN...can we? WILL HE? I doubt I'll get a real response, but we'll see... Also, we'll see about literature and proper writing skills. I wrote this piece in perfect format in Microsoft Word. I copied and pasted it into this post, and it published in a garbled form. It's not how it looks, it's what is said that matters...deal with the appearance. Possibly Blogger is part of the "machine"... we cannot write and post with any regularity or consistancy either :)!

I am an intelligent, highly active CONSERVATIVE. However, I am also HIGHLY THINKING of voting for you in November, IF YOU GET THERE!
True conservatives know that the fix is in. It's like in the old sci-fi movies when the unsuspecting victimized community people know that monsters have taken them over then "luck" upon a room with a big giant machine that quietly CONTROLS the masses. Then somehow, they forget the monsters and think that the machine was at fault, and that by smashing a machine life will be better. Monsters create machines like that, and dumb people accept, smart people know. That machine is real in 2008. BUT IT'S NOW A SMART MACHINE...IT'S A MACHINE THAT HAS COVERED ITS OWN ASS! IT'S A MACHINE THAT HAS CHOSEN BOTH...I SAID BOTH...A CANDIDATE FROM DEMOCRAT AND REPUBLICAN PARTIES TO CONTROL THE PEOPLE. But, as with all bad Sci-Fi movies, they (machine) picked dull, old record-recorded failed people to BE THE MACHINE. So dumb, and so predictable.
Here's why you might get my vote. I have had a candidate from each party shoved straight up my ass. It was never a secret that the Clinton machine was going to put "her" in the race. However…
Upon inception, it was thought a given that Giuliani was the man. Oh, then "20,000" other guys joined. However, McCain was NEVER the guy! There was NEVER a "guy" in GOP until Fred Thompson jumped in. Then, he lost his ability to "be the guy" and failed due to non-aggressive ability on the issues or maybe his inability to speak without a script. Duncan Hunter was good, but MEDIA never gave him a shot, talk to the guy though, and HE was good! So we milled and mauled around, and were in search of the true conservative. Romney seemed the likely best of what was left because he made sense, common sense and could be the business man that saved the economy AND THE NATION because in the end it’s all about the money and he can balance money, and then...."POOF"...the GOP machine bolstered John Freaking McCain to the top in a few days time when he was nobody a few days before!
Sound familiar? Same happened with Hillary, it’s just that the MEDIA has always celebrated Hillary, and no other candidate had a chance. That’s because the MEDIA is part of the machine. YOU have managed to be the one guy that has remained in the race (how the machine didn't kick you to the curb is amazing...unless you are too part of a bad machine...???)
I am a small business owner. I deal with the REAL ISSUES every damn day! I have to deal with health care, and providing it to my employees I have to deal with mortgage issues because my employees have trouble paying them and need advances, I deal with energy because in a truck related industry, the costs mandate trends. You, Mr. Man will SCREW US ALL UP on your health care idea, or Hillary’s… if you read this far and want to know how to solve it, e-mail me…someone that knows from the same place that the lady or man that sent you $3.01. I know the answer, it’s really simple…just not YOURS…..YET! I’ve been involved in our state on this issue; there is a quite simple answer that NONE OF YOU CANDIDATES talk about, because simplicity and common sense obviously doesn’t SELL!
My only other beef with you so far is that you have NO CLUE on immigration. You, while powerful and inspirational appear deaf mute on this issue. You’re either an American or NOT. You either sign in upon entering and follow an already set procedure or you DON’T. JUST BECAUSE DECADES OF OTHERS NOT FOLLOWING THE RULES MAKES IT SEEMINGLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FATHOM, IT ISN’T!
So…now that I’ve told you why you suck, LET ME TELL YOU WHY YOU DON’T!
You are the Billy Graham, or the Martin Luther King of our time. You can speak to the people. You speak in a way that wakes us all up. You speak, and we listen. You are E.F. Hutton. You are JFK, you are MLK, you are my Mom when I was getting yelled at, or when I was cuddled, and you are my boss when I got reprimanded or promoted. You are my Dad when I sat on his knee; you are my doctor when I need to find out what’s wrong… YOU CAN SPEAK!
Now, while from Texas, and someone that does support Bush, (more originally than now), but still supports…his biggest failure is that he cannot speak, OR WON’T.
SO…MR. YES WE CAN…the biggest question, and the ONE THING THAT JUST MIGHT GET YOU ELECTED IS………DRUM ROLL PLEASE………CAN YOU WILL? Yes we can, but will you? You, my young friend are making a lot of headway in this nation. You are making speeches that make us cry, and make bumps raise on our arms. BUT…WILL YOU DO WHAT YOU SAY??? Most of us doubt it. No other politician has. Congress holds you down; can you make them do what you say? Will you make us all PAY THE SAME EXACT PERCENTAGE ON TAXES? I’m fortunate, I make good money, not great…but let’s say on basic numbers that first graders can understand (units of ten)…I make $100,000…I pay $10,000 in taxes. You do the best you can and make $10,000. You pay $1,000 in taxes. FAIR, we all get that. WILL YOU MAKE THAT HAPPEN? McCain WON’T! Hillary WON’T!
ANOTHER THING ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY…What about the people? If WE vote for you, will you REALLY do what is BEST FOR US? Will you LISTEN to those of us that own businesses and make decisions? Will you give up the damn entitlement bullshit and balance a national P&L?
It’s no secret that those that are HELPLESS need all of our help, but those ILLEGAL, and those ABLE should get up off their lazy asses and do what they need to do for themselves! YOU YOURSELF preach about how you came from nothing and struggled…MAKE THE REST OF YOUR CONSTITUENCY DO IT FOR THEMSELVES TOO! Don’t make me pay for a drug addict’s problems. Rehab may be free, but groceries AFTER REHAB ARE NOT! If people continue to screw up, don’t make me pay to make their life cushy when I work so hard to make my own life merely decent!
I was raised by die hard Democrats on a dirt poor cotton farm in West Texas. My folks let the government bail them out more than once. I learned as I got an education that Liberal Democratic government is all about keeping the people down. It’s all about telling them how YES WE CAN…WE WILL BAIL YOU OUT…WE WILL GIVE YOU A PROGRAM THAT WILL SAVE YOU FROM YOUR OWN DEMISE…
Don’t make me pay for THAT bullshit anymore! My Republican government taught me how to do it for myself. My conservative people taught me COMMON FREAKING SENSE! My conservative people also told me UP FRONT that it wouldn’t be EASY. When I screwed up, my conservative government told me, “too bad…we told you how, you screwed it up on your own! CORRECT YOUR FLAWS, and then you too can come back into financial success, beyond that…fail…or not, it’s up to you.” When I was TRULY DOWN AND OUT due to circumstances beyond my control, my conservative people lent a hand, a temporary friendly hand. When my trauma was over, it was time for me to step back up to the plate and play. Failure wasn’t an option. Liberals make failure an easy way out and even an encouraged way of life, as to say if we pay for you, we can control you…and they do. Mr. Obama, if you are going to be our next president, you must have the word NO in your vocabulary. You must have the word TRUTH in your vocabulary. You must have the word DO in your vocabulary...AND ABOVE ALL, YOU MUST HAVE THE WORD WON’T in your vocabulary.
It’s easy to say YES WE CAN, a little harder to make me believe you WILL DO. If you truly want CHANGE, you will bow up and tell us all the REAL TRUTH. You will stand up in the way you can speak and tell some that the answer will be NO until they can DO. If you can be that guy, you might win.
And, some of us ARE INVOLVED. I am a delegate in an upcoming convention. I am a republican. Our caucus was total bullshit. My delegate position will either be compromised, or worthless due to our state’s results (Nevada). I come from TX. My brother is a precinct captain on your side, in the Dallas area. We both have blogs. Depending on whether or not I hear back from you in more than a form letter, may depend on whether I admit my true thoughts of voting for you (or not)…November is a long way off. I’m printing this letter to you on my blog.
Dude…(I say that as a Mom of teens), you have a real shot here. But, if you win and you let the people down, all bets are off. Nobody even sees you as black…you are just the guy that can speak. Your name puts us off a bit, because there are probably Mullahs and Clerics out there still following the idea that your non-participating dad was a radical and/or may or may not be lurking??? Who knows, there may be hidden agendas. I think not, but I’d think if I were you to watch my back. If not from the foreign enemy, more so the Clintons. Can you truly represent this nation against an enemy that celebrates all of your names, but none of what you stand for? Can you beat TWO machines that were filled with fuel years before you were probably born? Tough gig kid, but you’ve managed to survive through it so far.
Also…campaigning? Marketing is huge, it’s a viable part of success, and any business owner knows it. I personally campaign my own businesses in what works. I advertise little, I KNOW HOW MUCH IT COSTS. But, I know that you put out a message that you want true, and you better back it up, and when you speak truth, TELL THE TRUTH TO ALL YOU DEAL WITH, and back up your word when it goes bad, it’s successful. Your ads are powerful. I HATE HIP HOP, but as with every bad band or great band, each true good artist has a ballad that works. Your hip hop ads are good. So, you can speak, you can hire people to do what they are supposed to do, and it’s working. Believe it or not, so did Ross Perot. His greatest accomplishment was knowing how to hire people to do the right thing and let them go to do it. It’s working for you. Drop the ball, and you’ll be demolished.
